CONTACT MEETING
Intensive Management of Pine and Eucalyptus Plantations
in Argentina & Uruguay

Dear Coop Members,
With great pleasure we would like to invite you to participate in the Contact Meeting “Intensive
Management of Pine and Eucalyptus Plantations in Argentina and Uruguay”. During the meeting
we will have the opportunity to review and discuss about operational plantations and regional
studies results (RW7, RW18, RW19) established with Coop members in Argentina and Uruguay
(See the program and route). The meeting has been scheduled for the week of November 14th to
the 19th, starting from Montevideo (Uruguay) and finishing in Posadas town, Argentina.
The estimated cost for this meeting is US$980 and includes all transportation costs from
Montevideo (Uruguay) until Posadas (Argentina), hotel, field lunch, and one official dinner of the
meeting. Specific day’s dinners (indicated in the program) and flights to Montevideo and from
Posadas to final destinations are not included.
The number of slots for this meeting is 22. People interested to attend are encouraged to send as

genetic materials, clones and species of eucalyptus.

13:30-17:00 Mid Rotation Fertilization Trials, Eucalyptus clones, Pine hybrids. First and
second thinning regimes pines.
17:00-20:00 Travel to Posadas.

behalf of each participant)

• Puerto Iguazú Airport (Buenos Aires, Santiago, Falls tourist destination, requires travel of
approximately 2.5 hours from Posadas).
