field trials. Corresponding
membership is open to individuals or
organizations that do not own land and is
intended for consultants, suppliers,
contractors, and other organizations with an
interest in sustainable plantation
silviculture.
Sustaining membership is
open to organizations that do not own land
but want to support the program at a higher
level and be more active in the FNC.
Members are invited and strongly
encouraged to actively participate in all FNC
activities. Each member has one
representative on the FNC Advisory Council.
The Advisory Council advises the staff on
program direction, budgets, membership
policies, and field trials. The Advisory
Council meets at least once a year typically
during late September or early October. The
annual Advisory Council meeting is typically
three days long, with one and one-half days
devoted to reporting recent results, one-half
day for business, and another day in the
field. Other meetings include annual contact
meetings which are two-day field reviews on

continuing education/consulting assistance
and participate in members-only workshops.
We invite
you to join our other members in supporting
the FNC. Please contact
us if you
